About
Parklife is Manchester's biggest music festival — a two-day event in Heaton Park with a lineup that spans electronic music, hip-hop, grime, indie, and pop. With a capacity of 80,000 per day and consistently strong bookings, it's become one of the most important festivals in the north of England. The festival takes full advantage of Heaton Park's 600 acres, with multiple stages spread across the parkland. The electronic music programming is particularly strong — reflecting Manchester's deep roots in dance culture. The food and drink offering has improved significantly in recent years. Parklife is a non-camping festival — Manchester's hotels, Airbnbs, and student accommodation absorb the crowds. The Metrolink tram runs directly to the park.
