About

67 Greenland Street, Baltic Triangle, Liverpool L1 0BY

Camp and Furnace is a vast, industrial multi-use venue in the Baltic Triangle that's become one of Liverpool's most important cultural spaces. The converted warehouse complex (previously a Cammell Laird furnace works) houses a restaurant, bar, event space, and club venue under soaring ceilings and exposed brick — the kind of raw industrial aesthetic that Liverpool does brilliantly. The programming is eclectic and excellent: club nights, live music, comedy, immersive theatre, food festivals, markets, and one-off cultural events. The space transforms completely depending on the event — from seated dinner shows to 1,500-capacity standing gigs. The Bongo's Bingo nights (a surreal combination of bingo, rave, and chaos) started here and became a national phenomenon. The Baltic Triangle area surrounding Camp and Furnace has exploded with creative energy in recent years — independent bars, galleries, studios, and food businesses have colonised the former industrial district. Camp and Furnace is the anchor of the neighbourhood. The food is good, the cocktails are well-made, and the atmosphere on a big night is pure Liverpool energy.
